The $1,100,000 Annual Fund goal for 2006-2007
is within reach, thanks to the many generous donors
who have participated in this year’s Annual Fund!

To reach our Parent Participation goal,
we still need 134 additional parent donors.

2006-2007 ANNUAL FUND - A RECORD START

Annual Fund Co-Chairs Janna and Karch Kiraly are delighted to report that as of November 28 2006, our school families have contributed a total of $475,000 in gifts and pledges to the 2006-2007 Annual Fund for St. Margaret’s Episcopal School.

We thank all of our donors who heeded the call for early Annual Fund participation and for increased gifts to this year’s Annual Fund.

The Annual Fund dollars given during the months of October and November have set a new record high for annual giving, and parent participation in the Annual Fund at all grade levels is off to a great start. The participation goal for 2006-2007 is a minimum 80%-89% at every grade level – Preschool through Grade 12!

YOUR 1 GIFT will keep the 2006-2007 Annual Fund moving forward! The month of December is usually filled with the spirit of giving. Please remember to include the St. Margaret’s Annual Fund in your charitable giving plans and your year-end tax planning.

Participate in the Annual Fund by giving at a level appropriate for your family; join us today and remember – EVERY GIFT MATTERS!

Remember: YOUR 1 GIFT and your participation in the Annual Fund at any level is the single most important way you can express your belief in the importance of a St. Margaret’s education and your support for the school.

The Annual Fund office is often asked:

“How much should I give.”

Considered in dollars, the answer is different for each family.
The answer that is the same for each of us is “Give enough so that you care how it’s spent.”

Reflect for a moment on the importance to each student of her or his experiences at St. Margaret’s. Our school as it is today -- the high educational standards, the strength of our arts, athletics and clubs, the state-of-the-art science equipment and classroom smart boards –- has been made possible by more than two decades of charitable gifts received from the current and past generosity of current and former parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, trustees, and friends.
