Chapel

Chapel has always been an integral part of St. Margaret's Episcopal School. In our search for knowledge, character formation, personal growth, and direction for our lives, we acknowledge through worship a relationship with God and each other. During Chapel services, students and faculty members worship together to comprehend our common bonds and gain an awareness of the needs of others. We proclaim that the worship of God gives meaning and purpose to our concerns, our gifts, our struggles, and our destiny. Students are encouraged to participate in Chapel in a variety of roles, including acolytes, readers, Eucharistic ministers, and speakers.

As an integral part of St. Margaret's, Preschoolers attend Chapel weekly, Lower School students attend Chapel four times a week, and Middle and Upper School students attend Chapel once a week on Tuesdays. The form and worship is in accordance with the tradition of the Episcopal Church, Parents are always welcome and the Chapel is available throughout the school day for personal/private devotions.
